Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the terrorists responsible for the attack on the Moscow theater had initially tried to flee to Belarus.
According to Lukashenko, the terrorists were unable to enter Belarusian territory due to checkpoints.
"That's why they couldn't enter Belarus, they realized it.
That's why they moved away and went to the Ukrainian-Russian border area," the Belarusian president said, contradicting Russia's claim that the killers had attempted to enter Ukraine directly.
