There are a lot of things to consider when it comes to license plates.
The method of attachment was previously the responsibility of the car owner.
But that has now changed.
This is how you have to attach your license plate.

There are also laws that must be observed when it comes to vehicle license plates.
How you attach your license plate to your car has never been clearly regulated.
More and more drivers are therefore using simple methods such as Velcro or magnets.

Vehicle license plates must be firmly attached
In the vehicle registration regulations, the attachment has now been “firmly” regulated in the truest sense of the word.
Because: permanently attaching the license plate has been a must since February.
The legal text of the regulation on the registration of vehicles for road traffic states: “License plates must be present and firmly attached to the front and rear of the motor vehicle”.
So an end to suction cups, magnets and Velcro.
The signs should only be removed with great effort or tools.
It is better to replace simple attachments with more compact ones.
To get a license plate for a new car, there is no way around the registration office.
But conditions here are sometimes chaotic.
