A disturbance accompanied by significant rain will indeed affect the Rhône-Alpine region this Tuesday at the end of the day.
The rain-snow limit will drop to around 600 m overnight, causing 10 cm of snow in Le Puy and 20 cm on the plateaus at 1,000 m altitude.
Only the Brivadois region should be spared, according to the forecaster.
In the Loire and Isère, snow could fall above 400 m, enough to impact the Saint-Etienne metropolitan area and Terres Froides.
5 cm are possible from this altitude, and 10 cm from 600 m, again according to Météo France, which mentions a “late snow episode, which could cause disruption to road traffic, therefore requiring particular vigilance”.
