This has in fact embarked on a completely different legal battle.
Bigi would aim to prevent him from dipping into the King of Pop's assets as part of this other trial.

Originally, Bigi, formerly nicknamed Blanket, was in his grandmother's camp.
Both were trying to prevent a “recent transaction” between the executors of Michael Jackson's will and a large company, whose name is not mentioned.
According to
TMZ
, this would involve Sony's purchase of half of Michael Jackson's catalog.
All for the modest sum of 600 million dollars (554 million euros).
Bigi and Katherine Jackson allegedly tried to block this agreement, but the court rejected their request.

Lawyers fees
And if Bigi Jackson and his brother and sister accepted this court decision, this would not be the case for their grandmother.
Katherine Jackson has reportedly appealed the decision, and will now request that the artist's heirs pay the legal fees that will arise from the trial.
Which Bigi would refuse, arguing that this appeal request is unlikely to succeed, and that it “will not benefit” the heirs in any way.
The young man would, however, be open to the idea of covering certain legal costs dating from before Katherine Jackson's appeal request.
Neither Bigi nor his grandmother have, however, spoken publicly about the matter.
