On her phone, Marie-France scrolls through portraits of herself.
Its appearance changes with the seasons like in a fashion catalog.

Last winter, “before a major interview,” she explains, her hair was straight and relaxed.
And then, there is yet another Marie-France, 49 years old, the one who is in front of us this afternoon, in a chic suit jacket with her frizzy hair cut short.
“I feel good like this.
But that’s not everyone’s opinion,” sighs this Parisian.
A manager and sales manager for twenty-three years, currently looking for work, she agreed to discuss a subject that some find "futile" but which has taken a disproportionate place in her life: her hair.
