When and how to resolve the Taiwan dossier "is purely an internal matter of China which does not tolerate any external interference".
This is the comment of ChenBinhua, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the central government, to the assessments of Admiral John Aquilino, head of the US Indo-Pacific Command, who, in a hearing last week in the US House of Representatives, said that Beijing would be ready to use force against Taiwan by 2027. Chen condemned the US for malicious intentions and for inventing so-called "timelines" and "military threats" in the Taiwan Strait.
