Novak Djokovic announced through his Instagram profile the end of the collaboration with Goran Ivanisevic.
"I clearly remember the moment when I invited Goran to be part of my team. It was 2018, Marian (Vajda, former coach of the Serbian champion, ed.) and I were trying to innovate, to add a bit of magic to the serve in the our duo. We brought not only that, but also lots of laughter, fun, seasons finished at world number 1, new records, 12 Slam titles (and a few more finals)" wrote Djokovic.
"Goran and I decided not to work together anymore for a few days. Our chemistry on the pitch has had its ups and downs, but our friendship has always been very solid. I'm proud to say (I don't know if the same is true for him ), that in addition to winning tournaments for years we have an ongoing battle in Parchisi (a board game, ed.).
