“Legendary” semi-finals, she would say.
Drag queen Nicky Doll, presenter of “Drag Race France” since 2022, will commentate for CultureBox (formerly France 4) the semi-finals of Eurovision 2024, France Télévisions announced this Tuesday March 26 in the early evening.
She will be responsible for commentating on the evenings of May 7 and 9, in Malmö (Sweden), where 31 countries will compete for only 20 places for the grand final on Saturday.
A first for the drag queen, who will be alone in charge from her presenter's box in the Malmö Arena.

Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern always there
Aged 33, Nicky Doll is a trained makeup artist, and subsequently began drag in the early 2010s. She became internationally known after her participation in the twelfth season of “RuPaul's Drag Race” in 2020. The logical continuation led her to take the reins of the French version of the program in June 2022, a role that she must keep for season 3, coming “soon” on France Télévisions.
For the grand final on Saturday May 11 broadcast on France 2, the pair Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern are renewed by the public group for the fourth consecutive year.
They will notably comment on the performance of French candidate Slimane, who will participate with his song “Mon Amour”, revealed in November.
He succeeds La Zarra, who failed to achieve better than a sixteenth place in Liverpool (United Kingdom), during the 2023 edition.

The former winner of “The Voice”, who became a coach in “The Voice Kids”, is currently 8th among bettors, while Croatia, Italy and Ukraine make up the top three favorites for the title.
But the road to Malmö is still long, especially with the “pre-parties”, these evenings across Europe which precede Eurovision during the month of April and during which many candidates perform their songs.
