The average price of car insurance in February was 395 euros, up on an annual basis by 6.5% in nominal terms and 5.7% in real terms;
in February there was a deceleration in the increase in motor liability insurance compared to the +7.5% in January.
This is what emerges from IVASS data.
Average prices, it is noted, are lower than the pre-pandemic period (406 euros in February 2019).
Price increases were recorded on a provincial basis ranging between 1.8% in Ragusa and 11.0% in Aosta.
The premium differential between Naples and Aosta is 252 euros, a decrease of 3% compared to the previous year.
For insured persons belonging to merit classes higher than the first, the price increase is 9.3%.
