Despite twice falling behind by 19 points, the Los Angeles Lakers ended up beating the Milwaukee Bucks (128-124) after two overtimes.
Without LeBron James, who was rested to save an ankle, the Lakers were able to count on an immense Anthony Davis, author of 34 points and 23 rebounds with a rare playing time of almost 52 minutes.
Davis was also omnipresent on defense, with a decisive counterattack on Damian Lillard at the end of the first overtime.
While the two teams were tied in the second overtime, great defense from All-Star center Giannis Antetokounmpo allowed his teammate Austin Reaves (in a triple double with 29 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists) to give away three points ahead of the Lakers, who had never led in regulation time.
Thanks to this success they maintain ninth place in the Western Conference.
The Oklahoma City Thunder overwhelmed the New Orleans Pelicans (119-112) and maintained their hopes of finishing in first place in the Western Conference.
With 51 wins and 21 losses, OKC is currently second with just one win less than Denver (51-21), with just under three weeks left in the regular season.
New Orleans drops to 5th place, with one more defeat than the Los Angeles Clippers, fourth.
The Golden State Warriors of Stephen Curry (17 points) and Klay Thompson (28) beat the Miami Heat (113-92).
In the precarious position of tenths in the West, the last qualifying place for the play-offs, the Warriors maintain a one-match lead over the Houston Rockets, who they will meet again on April 4th.
