A man who was injured inside one of the buildings hit by 30 rockets launched by Hezbollah on the town of Kiryat Shmona, in northern Israel, has died.
The media reported this, citing the emergency services according to which the man - aged around 25 - was already in serious condition after he had been pulled from the rubble of an industrial building hit by one of the Lebanese rockets.
So far, according to estimates from the same sources, 18 Israelis have been killed by Hezbollah's attacks, which began immediately after October 7: 11 soldiers and 7 civilians.
Earlier, the Israeli army reported that a salvo of at least 30 rockets was fired from Lebanon towards Kiryat Shmona.
Media reported that the Iron Dome intercepted some of the rockets while others hit sites in the city causing property damage.
The attack - the media reported - was claimed by the Lebanese Hezbollah after Israel last night hit and killed across the border an "important operative" of Jamaa Islamyia, a Lebanese military organization linked to Hamas
The Israeli army has in fact confirmed that it has killed "an important terrorist operative of the Jamaa Islamiya organization" in a raid on a military complex in the al-Habbariyeh area, in southern Lebanon.
A military spokesman stressed that the terrorist, "who launched attacks against Israeli territory, was eliminated along with other terrorists who were with him."
The affected organization, allied with Hamas, reported the deaths of seven of its members, calling them "rescuers".
Lebanon, 6 dead in an Israeli raid in the south
Six people were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli raid in southern Lebanon, not far from the Naqura military base, home to the Unifil headquarters, which includes a thousand Italian soldiers.
This was reported by medical sources cited by Lebanese media according to which the Israeli raid hit a cafe in the town of Naqura, on the Mediterranean coast, close to the front line between Hezbollah and Israel.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is expected in the area tomorrow, at the Italian military base in Shamaa.
Wafa, 11 Palestinians killed in Israeli raid in Rafah
The Palestinian Wafa news agency reports that 11 civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Dhair family's home in the Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
An Israeli fighter plane, according to Wafa, also targeted a house belonging to the al-Hamayda family in Rafah, causing several injuries among its residents.
