After removing the first teaser following a controversy over the casting, France Télévisions published a new soundtrack this Wednesday

An eventful start to say the least. This Wednesday, France Télévisions published on its YouTube channel a new trailer for the show “Aux Jeux Streamers”, in which eight teams made up of Internet stars and television personalities will compete in events sports, 90 days before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In this teaser, published on no other social network of the channel, certain headliners initially announced have disappeared. This is the case of Tibo InShape and Ophenya, whose presence had been severely criticized by Internet users. The first is regularly accused of racism, homophobia or sexism. The second is notably targeted for having promoted a dating application intended for 10-21 year olds.

Faced with the outcry, the channel suddenly deleted all content related to the program. The ticket office at the La Défense Arena site, where the competition is to take place, was also inaccessible, raising fears of a cancellation or postponement of the event. This Wednesday, France Télévisions confirmed the launch of “Aux Jeux Streamers” on April 27.

Baghera Jones also absent

Beyond the spectators, certain casting influencers had also deplored the choice of the public audiovisual group. Streamer Baghera Jones stated that she “in no way validates the actions and/or comments of certain participants in this event”. Personal choice or decision of the channel, the influencer is also no longer part of the show.

New names of content creators have been revealed, such as Juju Fitcats, who is followed by more than 3 million people on YouTube and who shares his life with Tibo InShape or even Lebouseuh, who recently participated in “Dancing with the stars of 'Internet', presented by Michou.

Hosting this show broadcast both on France 2 and on Twitch, the streamer Zerator will be accompanied by Samuel Étienne.

In the trailer published this Wednesday, the t-shirts of the members of France Télévisions seem to be flocked only with the channel's logo, unlike those of the influencers, sponsored by the Samsung brand. This subject was the subject of strong internal turmoil, Le Parisien learned, due to the initial project to equip journalists with sponsored t-shirts. It was decided to abandon this idea, for a simple flocking in the name of the audiovisual group, confirms a source to Le Parisien.

Contacted by the editorial staff, France Télévisions has not yet responded.
