A Leberkas creation is currently causing a stir online. Although the combination is more than questionable, users are discussing something else.

Munich – True to the motto “new is not always better”, certain traditional dishes should be left untouched if possible. In Italy, for example, you get strange looks when you order the infamous Hawaiian pizza with pineapple. The state of Bavaria also has unwritten laws that everyone should adhere to unless they want to incur the wrath of an angry herd of gourmets.

Admittedly, some creations can be debated: While some people like to garnish the liver casserole with sweet mustard, others think that this is a crime. According to some purists, a Leberkas creation that is currently circulating on Reddit would probably be punished with a prison sentence. In fact, there have already been similar combinations, for example in the form of an Austrian “Krapfen-Burger” for Carnival.

Donuts, Berliners or pancakes? Questionable Leberkas creation splits the internet

A user appropriately shared the questionable Leberkas creation under the “Leberkas Crimes” subreddit. This one says in the description: “Leberkas is Lebenskas. Therefore, it should be forbidden by law to commit crimes against this valuable food.” The author of the article immediately made it clear that the picture of the “roll” was not his. Instead, he found this in a WhatsApp status.

Users are shocked - especially because the creation was called “Leberkäse im Berliner” instead of “Leberkas im Krapfen”. According to the top comment, calling a donut “Berliner” is the number one crime. Others agreed with him, with one stressing that he didn't care "as long as you don't say pancakes to it." When asked why, another replied: "Because a pancake is a slightly thicker crepe made from a pan."

Leberkas creation is classified as a crime: “Okay, I’ve had enough!”

Even the author of the top comment is surprised at the wave his statement has caused. He explained that he was a bit shocked at how wild things were here because of the terminology. “That wasn’t really the intention of my comment.” In the end, there were more voices who spoke out in favor of the doughnut. Regardless of the name war, many say the Leberkas creation should be banned.

At least that's what most people think. Statements such as “this is a crime” and “there is already enough suffering in this world” can be read. One user is completely beside himself and wrote: “Okay, I've had enough! The report is out.” Another wants to call the police. In fact, there are also people who react calmly: “That doesn’t shock anyone anymore.” A few users even say that they would try the Leberkas creation.

Recently, a liver casserole also caused a stir. Other than in this case, it was not a strange creation for which you would probably be banned from entering Bavaria. Instead, it was a more or less normal variant, except that the Leberkas on the roll left a lot to be desired.
