At the beginning of Holy Week, two trucks and a car were involved in a fatal collision
this Thursday morning on a route in Santa Fe.
Three people died
and four others were injured
in the accident .
The crash occurred this morning at kilometer 94 of Route 34, near Centeno, 150 kilometers from the provincial capital, according to Diario UNO. Local media reported that the fatal victims are
two men and a woman
, although their identities have not yet been released.
Four people were injured and were transferred to the San Genaro Community Medical Care System (SAMCo).
The cars involved were a Toyota Hilux truck, a Ford Ranger and a Volkswagen Voyage car. In them were traveling a group of rural workers, a man from Centeno and people from Colonia Dora (Santiago del Estero), respectively.
According to the images published by the Santa Fe press, the black Volkswagen suffered severe damage to both the front and the rear, with its windows broken and some internal mechanical elements detached from the structure.
The vans, both white, suffered
almost complete destruction.
One of them, with its CNG cannons in its lower part, was left on its left flank in the middle of the route.
Authorities are still investigating the causes of the crash.
The road, two-way but with one lane in each direction, is only surrounded by grasslands and some trees and has, a short distance from where the crash occurred, its connection with Route 56.

Around 9:15 a.m., the Provincial Road Safety Agency reported that the highway was closed and traffic was diverted both to the north and south.
Four hours later, around 1:00 p.m., traffic was normal.
Ambulances and volunteer firefighters from the area responded to the first emergency call.
