A further intensification of surveillance and control activities in the area, with a view to preventing risks to public safety and any potential event detrimental to safety. This was decided during a meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, chaired by the prefect of Rome Lamberto Giannini, aimed - we read in a note - at a context analysis of the security of the Capital, also following the recent events in Moscow and the assessments carried out last March 25 at the National Committee for Public Order and Security chaired by the Minister of the Interior. In this sense, the strengthening of the security measures already in place was therefore ordered, also through the increase of forces in the field, as well as the planning of specific operational services, paying particular attention to places of greatest aggregation as well as to all sensitive objectives.
