The Israeli army killed Raad Thabat, head of supplies and personnel of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in the Shifa hospital in Gaza City. Military spokesman Daniel Hagari said this, underlining that Tabat "was in the top ten" of Hamas and "close to the leader Yahya Sinwar" and "to the head of the Mohammed Deif Brigades". Hagari also said that "there were 1,250 people in Shifa hospital, including 900 suspects, among whom we identified 513 terrorists."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has informed the War Cabinet that he will send a delegation to Washington next week. This was reported by the Ynet website, thus confirming what was announced yesterday by the White House. Political sources who spoke to Ynet reported that "Netanyahu realized he was wrong" to initially cancel the sending of the delegation to Washington as a reaction to the US abstention vote on the resolution approved by the Security Council of UN for ceasefire in Gaza.

The spokesman for the US National Security Council, John Kirby, said in a briefing that the White House is working on a "new date" for the meeting with the Israeli delegation to discuss the operation in Rafah.

"Israel is preparing to enter Rafah," Netanyahu said while meeting the families of the soldiers who are among the Hamas hostages in Gaza. Netanyahu then reiterated that only military pressure will ensure the release of the abductees. Israel - he concluded after underlining that the hostages are "heroes" - "will leave no one behind".

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said in a BBC interview that Israel bears significant responsibility for the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and that there is a "plausible" case that Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war in Gaza. Türk stated that if intent were proven, it would amount to a war crime.

The International Court of Justice in The Hague ordered Israel to "provide urgent humanitarian assistance" to Gaza, where "the famine has begun". These are new provisional measures issued by the Court which must decide on the accusations of genocide made by South Africa against the Jewish State.

“Israel must take all necessary and effective measures to ensure, without delay, the unhindered provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance” to Gaza, the International Court of Justice in The Hague said. “The Palestinians of Gaza no longer face just the risk of famine,” famine “is coming,” the court said.

Meanwhile, the Hamas Ministry of Health has announced that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 32,552, of which 62 in the last 24 hours. The injured are 74,980, according to the same source.
