Anne-Cécile remembers with a smile the reactions of her older children when they learned that she was going to lose her hair. “The eldest, very thoughtful, asked me if it would grow back. The second one asked me to wear a hat when I went to pick him up from school! But ten minutes later, they had moved on to something else,” says the 39-year-old young mother, diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2023 and under chemotherapy since January. Like her, more and more women, including young people under 50, are victims every year.
