The grove of love trees is the vegetable garden of the settlement that resembles a bee, where the lovers fled to hide and engrave their love forever on the tree trunks. Over the years, paths were built on the site, and Eretz Israel love songs were engraved on the rocks. In one of the squares, the story of the ancient bee figure is told.
The spring of the five is also called the spring of a bee, and this is the original spring from which the people of the settlement drew water in the beginning. Later, the British set up a guard post on the pump there. Exit from Shadmat Deborah, at the eastern end of the Holy Tree Street. We walk along the dirt path facing west, towards the grove of love trees. The grove, which is paved with old trees and rocks with an exciting inscription, will give you a pleasant shade and you can cool off and draw some calm from it these days. In order to get to the Hamish spring, you have to cross Nahal Sheva, at the exit from the other side of the grove of love trees, get on the dirt road that goes up to the north (left) and continue to the spring.
Roi Hashemoeli, training coordinator at the Sde Alon Tabor school of the Society for the Protection of Nature, says that along the entire road between the grove and Mein you will see anemones and bulbs in the months of January and February, and in February and March, the hills surrounding the path between the spring of the Hamish and the grove of love trees are colored purple thanks to the blooming of the abundant lupines in the place .
The river Kama is now flowing beautifully, and the wheat fields are turning green. If you're lucky, on the hills you can watch deer, foxes and wild boars, and in the bushes you might meet mongooses and even swamp cats.
