Flying with dragons in a colorful world
is the new and tempting proposal being developed by Universal Orlando Resort, in the United States, based on the movie
"How to Train Your Dragon"
.
It turns out that DreamWorks Animation's award-winning and Oscar-nominated trilogy inspired
How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk
, one of the five worlds of the
new Universal Epic Universe theme park
, expected to open in 2025.
Guests will experience
life among dragons
as they explore a fascinating world with attractions, character encounters, restaurants and shops.
Just as it happens in the film, in this new "rugged and rocky" world, Vikings and dragons coexist in harmony.
This will be the world of How to Train Your Dragon
Isle of Berk
will feature a lagoon and two 12-metre-high Viking statues, in the middle of a town surrounded by turbulent seas. There will be four attractions, a live show and several character and dragon encounter experiences.

"Visitors will fly alongside Hiccup and Toothless and reach speeds of up to 72 km/h as they flutter around the perimeter of Berk, and even across the lagoon, while experiencing first-hand what it's like to fly on a dragon," they explain from Universal.
