The fourth known cinematographic adaptation of the legendary novel “The Wages of Fear”, by Georges Arnaud and published in 1949, that of Julien Leclercq (director of the film and series “Braqueurs”) dusts off both the form and the content. The director moves the action to our time, and from Central America to an imaginary Arab country, prey to political upheavals and terrorism.
