"During the night, the Russian army launched a powerful missile attack against Ukraine's energy facilities," Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk said, stating that the defense shot down 84 out of 99 targets. The Kremlin troops attacked with 60 drones, 3 missiles X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 9 X-59 guided air missiles, 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles, 21 X-101-X-555 cruise missiles. The Ministry of Energy announced on Telegram that "thermal and hydroelectric power plants in the central and western regions were damaged". The Ukrainian energy company Dtek announced on Telegram that three thermoelectric power plants were seriously damaged by the Russian attack during the night in the regions of Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Cherkasy: "The targets of the attacks with drones and missiles were mainly electricity production plants".
