At least 5 people died in Gaza due to the crush, during which gunshots were also heard, while humanitarian aid was distributed just before dawn. The Red Crescent reports this. The AFP states that in one of its videos you can see trucks moving quickly through burning ruins, with the crowd shouting and crowding together and "warning shots", as defined by witnesses, can be heard.
The Red Crescent says the incident occurred when 15 trucks of humanitarian aid arrived in Gaza City on their way to the Kuwait roundabout, where distribution was scheduled.
