Some are looking for information to best guide their children. Others, out of simple curiosity, want to know the place assigned to their establishment. Our traditional ranking of educational establishments arouses real enthusiasm among readers with each publication, whether they are in school or not, and this one, rich in lessons, is no exception to the rule. After that of high schools, Le Parisien publishes this Saturday its exclusive ranking of the best colleges, 2024 edition, in Île-de-France.
Four criteria were selected to establish it. This year, Le Parisien decided to promote colleges that help their students progress. Thus, the added value index, which compares the average mark obtained by an establishment in the written certificate to the expected mark (calculated according to the academic and socio-professional characteristics of the students), is worth 30% of the final score. The average mark obtained by the college in the written form of the patent is assigned the same coefficient. The diversity of social profiles of middle school students is worth 25% of the grade, and the support rate, which assesses the ability to keep students from 6th to 3rd grade, is worth 15%.
