In an interview with the Washington Post, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky once again asked for more weapons, urging the Biden administration to hand over the Atacms missiles without which "Ukraine risks having to withdraw". When Moscow "knows that we can destroy the planes, they will not attack from Crimea. It's like with the maritime fleet: we rejected them from our territorial waters, now we will expel them from the airports", he underlined, explaining that "we can no longer waste time: the Ukraine cannot be a political issue between parties."
The Ukrainian leader then announced that he had relieved Serhii Shefir from the post of first advisor to the head of state, Ukrinform reported, referring to the relevant presidential decree published today on the presidency website. Shefir was appointed first assistant to the head of state on May 21, 2019. Zelensky's decision follows similar ones in recent days regarding top positions in the government and the presidential entourage. Meanwhile, a new attack with Russian drones hit the central part of the country during the night: "There were several hits to infrastructure in the Poltava region", said the governor.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is building - reports The Telegraph - fake armaments to use as bait, creating false targets for Russian raids.
