Pope Francis is in St. Peter's Square where this morning, in the churchyard of the Vatican Basilica, he presides over the solemn Easter Sunday mass. Roman faithful and pilgrims from all over the world take part in the celebration, which begins with the "Resurrexit" rite, on the occasion of the Easter holidays. Over 350 cardinals, bishops and priests concelebrate the liturgy with the Pope. The floral decorations in St. Peter's Square were set up thanks to the contribution of the Dutch Florists with the collaboration of the workers of the Gardens and Environment Service. At midday, the Pontiff will appear from the central Loggia of St. Peter's, from where he will pronounce the Easter Message and impart the "Urbi et Orbi" Blessing.
