Three young people aged between 20 and 30 died in three different road accidents on Easter night. One occurred in
Chioggia
(Venice): a car with two 30-year-olds on board went off the road and ended up in a canal, for reasons yet to be ascertained. The first to intervene was a firefighter, not on duty, from the Chioggia command, who dived into the water, saving the woman. Rescue attempts by the Chioggia firefighters and Venice divers were in vain and the man who was with her died instantly.
Another crash occurred again in Veneto, between
Preganziol and Mogliano
(Treviso): a 28-year-old man died. The boy from Mogliano, on board his motorbike, collided with a car in which a 55-year-old from Casale sul Sile was traveling and was thrown onto the asphalt, dying instantly.
Tragedy also occurred in
San Benedetto dei Marsi
, a small town in Marsica (L'Aquila), where a 20-year-old girl lost her life. The girl was traveling by car with her boyfriend who was taken to hospital for checks. The young people's car was the only one involved.
