Many treasures are hidden in the yellow boxes of the surprise eggs: some of these figures reach prices of over 10,000 euros in collector circles. Do you also have one of these at home?
Excitement, games and chocolate – do you also know the motto from the Kinder Surprise egg advertisement? Maybe you should actually add something else, namely “prosperity” or something similar. Because some of the plastic figures from the surprise eggs, like some euro coins, can fetch high prices when sold these days - especially the older ones.
Maybe you also have one or two rarities in your typesetting box. According to
Focus,
the following five figurines have
achieved high profits when sold, for example on platforms such as
classifieds
or
Ebay
.
Up to 12,000 euros for the blue night watchman smurf
This Smurf figure is considered one of the most valuable ever. At least when the blue plastic on the hat and pants was painted over white in the Night Watchman Smurf (1979-1984). In addition, as with all figures, the condition plays a decisive role in the price. Scratches, missing parts or broken hands or feet reduce the height massively.

Up to 10,000 euros for the Flute Smurf
Sellers get around 5,000 to 10,000 euros for the now rare Flute Smurf (1979-1984). Here, experts differentiate between the blue blank with a yellow flute (several hundred euros) and the white blank with a red flute (5,000 to 10,000 euros). Since the second variant is actually a production error, the figure is considered a rarity.
Up to 6,000 euros for the vanity smurf
Quickly to the typecase: Do you have a Smurf with a mirror in your hand (1979-1984)? And is it painted silver instead of white? Then, depending on the general condition of the figure, you can ask for an amount between 4,800 and 6,000 euros.

Up to 3,500 euros for the dwarf Ferdi Fallobst
The dwarf Ferdi Fallobst belongs to the “Seasonal Dwarfs” series (1994) and carries a basket of apples. If he also has a dark complexion, be careful: because then one of the dark blanks that was never intended for this series was used. Collectors pay between 2,500 and 3,500 euros for the dwarf with a summer tan.
Up to 1,300 euros for the Stilt Smurf
If this figurine is assembled and in top condition, collectors will pay up to 900 euros. However, if you haven't assembled it yet and haven't separated the bridges between the stilts, you can ask for up to 1,300 euros. The Stilt Smurf is part of the 1983 “Smurfs Olympics” series.
Good to know: Find out the value and sell figures
The general rule here is: the better the figures or object are preserved, the better the chances of a decent sale. To become aware of the price range, you can search for information in Ü-egg catalogs or on various sites on the Internet. One of them, for example, is
Eierlei.de
. You can
also find out rough sales prices by talking to other collectors in special forums or (
) groups.
Editor's note: This text has already appeared in the past. Many readers were particularly interested in it. That's why we're offering it again.
You can then sell the collectibles straight away in the forums or via platforms such as
Ebay
or
classifieds
. Tip here: If you want to pay with Paypal, you should definitely insist on the option with buyer protection and not pay via “Family and Friends”. With the second variant, you rarely get the money you transferred back in the event of fraud.
