After having an abortion she kept the fetus in a freezer. It happened in a house in the Borghesiana neighborhood, a suburban neighborhood of Rome. The woman, a Romanian citizen, was reported together with her husband by the police for concealment of a body. She alerted the police and the doctors of the Casilino polyclinic after the woman had gone to the emergency room with heavy bleeding, the nature of which however she was unable to explain.
However, the doctors in the gynecology department ascertained that the blood loss was due to an abortion or premature birth. To clarify the causes, the hospital sent the medical report to the police in the Casilino district who, when they entered the couple's home in via Regalbuto, found the four-month-old fetus in the freezer.
