After having an abortion she kept the fetus in a freezer. It happened in a house in the Borghesiana neighborhood, a suburban neighborhood of Rome. The woman, a Romanian citizen, was reported together with her husband by the police for concealing a body. The doctors of the Casilino polyclinic alerted the police after the woman went to the emergency room with heavy bleeding, but she was unable to explain its nature.
However, the doctors in the gynecology department ascertained that the blood loss was due to an abortion or premature birth. To clarify the causes, the hospital sent the medical report to the police in the Casilino district who, when they entered the couple's home in via Regalbuto, found the four-month-old fetus in the freezer.
