"Here I am, alive and well. In short, it seems, they say, they assume that you won't get rid of me easily": in a video published on social media on Easter Sunday, Drusilla Foer thus announces - making the superstitious gesture of her horns - her return home after hospitalization for bilateral pneumonia.
"It was an experience, let's say, an important one, I was losing my feathers, or rather perhaps my feathers, it makes me more FoliesBerger, it's more suitable for me", the actress, Gianluca Gori's alter ego, tries to joke. "I'm still in convalescence, I have to rest, a lot of rest, I have to do things calmly, take my time, what a drag... I really had to postpone the tour: all those busy dates would have really been a big danger, but from September I will be back with you in theaters throughout Italy", adds Drusilla Foer, who had reported via social media about her hospitalization on 26 February and who was busy with her new theater work, the musical prose piece Venere Emica.
"Anyway, I would like to thank all of you, because I have truly heard so many souls sending me good thoughts. Thank you so much to all of you who have been so close to me. I also want to thank all the good things I have received from the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers at the Careggi hospital.
Thank you so much - she concludes -: you really saved me, welcomed me, looked after me."
