Clashes between fans before Lecce-Roma, the police investigate
Moments of tension this morning in Lecce, where a group of Salento fans allegedly attacked some Roma supporters who had arrived by bus in the city for the match scheduled for 6pm at the Via del Mare stadium. According to what we learn, once they arrived at the City Terminal, in the area of the former Foro Boario, the supporters of the visiting team were surrounded and beaten. The whole thing apparently broke out due to a jacket with the colors of Roma, which was then stolen by the attackers. The one who suffered the worst was a Roma fan who reportedly suffered minor trauma to his face but apparently refused 118 treatment. The unfortunate victim, together with his friends, took refuge in a bar to avoid further consequences. Digos is investigating the episode.
