Artificial intelligence has already entered our lives. It allows water management to reduce water losses, also with the creation of twin aqueducts capable of simulating interventions. But also - and this is the first large PNRR project completed - the exchange of health information between the various local health authorities on the National Telemedicine Platform. It can control traffic lights and improve traffic. And also draw an identikit from witness statements. And in the future? Maybe we can have a twin avatar on our phone to help us as a twin assistant.
It is the Italian way to AI, which will also be at the center of the Italian presidency of the G7 and on which the Engineering company is concretely working. Maximo Ibarra, who is the CEO of the company, also spoke about it at the B7, the body that brings together the large companies of the G7. "To ensure that the AI revolution involves everyone - he says - it is necessary to invest in skills and training; to speed up and encourage the digitalisation of companies and the Public Administration; to work on a regulation which, in addition to setting rules and limits, favors use and development of this technology". Dialogue and partnership are two key words for the effective but also ethically sustainable development of AI.
