European families' inflation expectations for the coming months fell to 3.1% in February from 3.3% in January, reaching "the lowest level since the start of Russia's unjustified war against Ukraine in February 2022".
The ECB wrote this in a statement, according to which inflation perceived in the previous 12 months also fell to 5.5% from 6%.
Expected inflation over a three-year horizon, measured on a median basis, is unchanged at 2.5%.
