An Israeli army drone repeatedly fired at the WCK aid convoy after "soldiers thought armed terrorists were among the group". This is reconstructed by a Haaretz report which cites anonymous security sources familiar with the incident. According to the same newspaper, "a Hermes 450 drone fired three missiles in rapid succession" despite the fact that it was clearly indicated on the roofs of the vehicles that they belonged to the WCK. The decision - the report continued - was taken by a unit guarding the aid transport route.
