Between still high inflation, sluggish growth and the spiraling deficit, the economic environment has experienced significant shocks in recent months - and there is no indication that the trend could quickly improve. However, executive employment seems to ignore this anxiety-provoking climate. The year 2023 was thus a historic year, revealed this Tuesday a study by the Association for Executive Employment (Apec). Over this period, companies recruited more than 330,000 of these qualified profiles on permanent or fixed-term contracts of more than one year. This represents an increase of 7% compared to 2022, itself a record year. To this figure, we must add the 67,000 internal promotions, which allowed non-managerial employees to change status. The net balance - once resignations, dismissals and retirements are subtracted - amounts to 85,000 job creations over the past year. Also a record.
