The preparation of spaghetti aglio e olio explained step by step:

  • Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water in a large pot according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some of the pasta water (approx. 100 ml).

  • Peel the garlic cloves and cut them into fine slices

  • Remove the seeds from the chili pepper and also cut it into thin slices or chop it finely.
