The investigating judge of the Latina court, Giulia Paolini, has sent Aboubakar Soumahoro
's wife, mother-in-law and brothers-in-law to trial
. The judge accepted the requests of the prosecutor Giuseppe Miliano who accused the defendants of various crimes ranging from bankruptcy to fraud and self-laundering.
Liliane Murekatete, Marie Therese Mukamitsindo, Michel Rukundo and Aline Mutesi, the parliamentarian's wife, mother-in-law and brothers-in-law respectively, are under investigation as part of the investigation by the Latina prosecutor's office into the management of public funds provided by the Karibu coop and the Aid consortium.
During the preliminary hearing held this morning, the preliminary hearing judge admitted the civil action of the municipalities of Sezze, Terracina, Roccasecca di Volsci, Latina, Pontinia, Aprilia, Monte San Biagio and Fondi, of the Uiltucs union, of nineteen workers and former employees of the Karibu coop and of the Aid consortium, of Codacons, of the Ministry of the Interior, through the State Attorney's Office, of the Rights Inclusion Agency Consortium and of the liquidator of Karibu.
The trial will begin on June 11th.
