Art Paris, the last edition before the metamorphosis. In the spring of 2025, this very Parisian fair, which was able to take advantage of the Covid crisis and the paralysis of its rivals, will be held offshore in the historic building of the Grand Palais which will have opened, from the fall of 2024, the 3rd edition de Paris +, by Art Basel. In the aisles, supporters of maintaining the ephemeral Grand Palais beyond the due date (its concessionaire, the private company GL Events, its architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and gallery owner Daniel Templon) and supporters of its destruction, as planned by contract (the office of the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati), are just as categorical in their verdict. With the return to the Grand Palais, the competition will resume with a vengeance, confronting very different visions of art, putting everyone back in their own backyard.
