The spokesperson of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban attacks Ilaria Salis and her father. "Ilaria Salis is not a heroine - writes Zoltan Kovacs in a video on politics and we will defend the reputation and integrity of our judiciary, no matter how loudly the left cries wolf."
For Budapest, "Ilaria Salis' father has repeatedly expressed serious unfounded accusations and he himself has turned his daughter's case into a political issue."
Orban's spokesperson accompanies his statement with images, already transmitted by himself in the past, of people being beaten, adding photos of heads covered with scars in the video.
"In recent months and weeks, Ilaria Salis' father - states Kovacs - has spoken to all the Western European press, as well as to some US media, he was even invited to the European Parliament and has repeatedly expressed serious unfounded accusations that they cannot be left unanswered. We should add that he himself has turned his daughter's case into a political issue and now seems surprised that political responses are coming to these
totally unfounded accusations."
As a father, Orban's spokesperson adds, "he would perhaps do well to reflect on how his daughter found herself in such an accident once again, because
this case is not unprecedented"
