three ingredients
for the
dough
. Perfect for when you're hungry in between meals or when you don't have the energy to cook something elaborate after exercise.
So, what are you waiting for? Top your tarte flambée however you like, or the classic way with bacon and spring onions. A real low carb highlight.
That's how it's done:
You need these ingredients:
For the tarte flambée cream:
200 g crème fraîche
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 pinch of nutmeg
For the low carb dough:
180 g low-fat quark
120 g light grated cheese
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
For greasing:
10 ml oil
To prove:
50 g spring onions, cut into rings
70g low-fat bacon, diced
120 g light grated cheese

Preparation is so easy:
Preheat oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.
For the tarte flambée cream:
in a bowl, season the crème fraîche with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
For the low-carb tarte flambée dough:
in another bowl, mix the low-fat quark with light grated cheese, the eggs and salt.
Then line a baking tray with baking paper and brush it with oil. Spread the tarte flambée dough on top and bake until light brown for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, spread the cream on the tarte flambée base and top with spring onions, bacon and grated cheese. Bake again for 15 minutes.
Start snacking without a guilty conscience. Bon appetit!
