   "Today, from all the Italian ports on strike and from the national demonstration in Genoa where around 1,500 people participated - underlines the national manager of Filt - there is a strong request to reopen the negotiation in a concrete way for the renewal of the national contract, bridging the gaps both on the economic side, but also in relation to some specific issues relating to the regulatory part".


   "Among our requests - says D'Alessio finally - a fair wage, unblocking the decree for the early retirement fund for dockworkers, the recognition of strenuous work, strengthening all the contractual instruments relating to the issue of health and safety at work and finally giving the our contribution to the port reform".
