The French stock market policeman on Friday requested a fine of 110,000 euros against Pierre-Antoine Capton, president of the audiovisual group Mediawan, suspected of having informed two of his relatives of the planned public purchase operation (OPA) on the company before its official announcement in June 2020.
The AMF (Financial Markets Authority) college also requested a fine of 100,000 euros against Clément Miserez, director of a production company belonging to Mediawan, and 50,000 euros against Lionel Rozenberg, boss of a telecommunications company, both of which acquired shares in Mediawan before the announcement of the takeover bid and realized stock market gains.
