Update from April 3rd, 10:04 p.m.:
The WhatsApp disruption seems to be gradually subsiding. At least that's what the declining reports on the online platform

indicate. At 9:45 p.m. the site received just over 4,000 error messages. The messenger service should work again for some users.
Others, however, still complain about problems. “Messages aren’t going out or coming in,” one user wrote on the site. “It doesn’t work for me either. Connection issues,” another commented. On a meta status page there is talk of a “major disruption”. Instagram is also affected by an outage.
