Clashes near the Olympic stadium between a group of around 200 Lazio fans and around a hundred Giallorossi supporters. The police intervened to separate the two groups, even using tear gas. A Roma fan has been arrested. The derby is scheduled for 6pm.
The clashes occurred around 9.30am, when around 200 Lazio fans moved towards the River bar. The group of 100 supporters reached them and the scuffles began. At that point the police station staff intervened to separate the two groups of fans. To disperse them, the police, who were subjected to paper bombs, used tear gas.
The forensic images are already being examined to identify who took part in the riots. During the operation, helmets, sledgehammers and screwdrivers were seized.
