Latest Generation Blitz at the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice. Six environmental activists glued their hands to the wall under Francesco Guardi's painting "The San Marco basin with the island of San Giorgio and Giudecca". At the center of their protest is the fate of Venice, the city that will be most affected by the climate emergency. For this reason they kept a thread pulled in front of the canvas, with the date 2044, "the year after which it is not known what will become of the city and the world". The young people reiterated the need for a reparation fund for programming, the main claim of their demonstrations. The police intervened on site and proceeded with the identification.
