It is not always easy for Italian companies to access Pnrr funds. This was revealed by a survey conducted by the Pnrr Observatory of The European House - Ambrosetti (Teha) according to which 77% of the companies that participated in a tender declared "having encountered difficulties" mainly linked to the "complexity of interpretation" (28% ) and "poor dialogue with the contracting entity" (23%).
The survey involved 450 CEOs and top management of the main Italian companies that are members of the Teha Club.
Half of the respondents declared that they had not participated in any tender "due to the limited variety of production sectors" involved. Among the participants it emerged that 36% presented a project in the context of Transition 4.0. Of these, only 8% exploited the resources to finance projects already planned before the Pnrr while the remaining 92% used them as a driving force for new investments or modernizations.
