Tens of thousands of people demonstrated in Kossuth Square, in front of the Parliament in Budapest, responding to the appeal of Peter Magyar, rising star of the democratic opposition, and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Viktor Orban's government.
"Orban hand power back to the people. Hungarians, stand up. Don't be afraid!": this is the slogan of the "national march" which appears to be the most impressive in Hungary for years and which marked Magyar's entry into the field. He announced the foundation of a movement, called "You are the change!", and of a party that will be competing in the European elections in June.
