Weather: “ephemeral and intense”, why temperatures will drop as quickly as they rise

A brief heat peak began this Saturday April 6, with temperatures above 25°C in most of France. The mercury will go down as quickly as it rose from the afternoon of Monday April 8. According to Météo France, temperatures will however "start to drop from the west on Sunday" and "this drop will be marked, with a drop of around 6°C to 10°C compared to the day before"

It's a thermal yo-yo effect: from the spring polo shirt on Saturday to the winter sweater on Monday. A brief heat peak began this Saturday April 6, with temperatures above 25°C in most of France and up to 30°C in the South-West. But you won't have time to get used to this heat.

The mercury will go down as quickly as it rose from the afternoon of Monday April 8. According to Météo France, temperatures will however "start to drop from the west on Sunday" and "this drop will be marked, with a drop of around 6°C to 10°C compared to the day before", except in certain eastern regions.
