One more day for almost three times more donations raised. The success of the second edition of Furax brought in nearly 152,000 euros. Organized by the Furax and Afrogameuses associations, the charity marathon broadcast on Twitch brought together around forty content creators on April 5, 6 and 7. The money collected will be donated to the Féministes contre le cyberharassment collective.
We are so moved that we don't even have words!

The objective: to help victims of sexual and gender-based violence and cyberviolence. On the weekend's program: video games, sculpture workshops, quizzes, interviews and round tables intended to raise awareness about sexuality, harassment or diversity in video games.
A passage from Valérie Damidot
To do this, Nat'Ali and Joul, the organizers, invited recognized influencers like Horty or Mistermv. Involved against cyberharassment, TV host Valérie Damidot was also there. “Give it otherwise I assure you we will eat the dog,” she pretended to threaten Internet users in front of the camera while the animal wandered between the influencers.
🥳🥳🥳 “Keep giving, you heard, @_Nat_Ali mortgaged his house!”@DamidotValerie: “Donate otherwise I assure you we will eat the dog” 😱

Last year, Furax collected 57,000 euros redistributed to the Elle's Imagine'nt association, an organization fighting against domestic violence and for women's rights.
The collective obtained associative status in 2023 in order to “formalize its actions outside of the annual charity event”. Beyond its charity marathon, Furax could create educational and awareness content. But the movement should also perpetuate the event.
The organizers announced to Ouest-France that they will “always be furious and numerous” for future years.
