There were almost as many stars on the catwalk as in the audience at Pucci's spring-summer 2024 show. To embody her new collection, the artistic director of the Italian brand, Camille Miceli, chose renowned models: Christy Turlington, Eva Herzigova, Olivia Palermo, Mariacarla Boscono and the unexpected Isabella Rossellini. The 71-year-old actress closed the show, wearing a colorful caftan, before making another appearance, this time hand in hand with Camille Miceli.
The designer chose Isabella Rossellini because of the latter's links with the Italian house. It was while preparing for her fashion show that she actually came across a copy of

magazine , dating from 1990: on the cover, captured by Steven Meisel, appeared Isabella Rossellini, then aged 38, with perfect blow-drying and hands manicured. In the background, a Pucci print, very close to the caftan she wore on April 4 in Rome.

On her Instagram account, Roberto Rossellini's daughter flips through the pages of the magazine, where in some photos she appears dancing. "That's wonderful. I remembered the cover, but not the pictures inside. We had a lot of fun with the cha-cha-cha. I already knew what it was because I had a cousin, Franco, who always went dancing. I was only ten years old, but I was old enough to be fascinated by fashion by watching adults.”
Used to the podiums
Actress for David Lynch, Peter Weir and Abel Ferrara, Isabella Rossellini has also appeared on the catwalks of numerous designers, particularly in the mid-1990s. In 1994, the actress notably walked the runway for the spring-summer 1995 collections of Jean Paul Gaultier, Blumarine and Dona Karan. Most recently, in 2018, Isabella Rossellini walked alongside her daughter, son and grandson for Dolce & Gabbana. Always with that warm smile and that confident look on her face, which never leaves her.
